Update to iOS 17: Ensure your iPhone is updated to the latest iOS version, iOS 17.

Open Messages: Launch the Messages app on your iPhone.

Select a Contact: Choose the person you want to notify when you reach your destination, or create a new message with them.

Tap the '+' Icon: Look for the '+' icon next to the message box and tap it.

Select Check In: From the options that appear, select "Check In."

Send the Check In: Type a message if you like, then hit send. This will notify your chosen contact.

Check Compatibility: If you receive a message saying, "Check In is not available to send to this recipient," make sure both devices are running on iOS 17 or later.

Adjust Notification Settings (Optional): You can customize when the notification is sent. Tap 'Edit' and choose between a time-based notification or one triggered by reaching a specific location.
